When you upload a video on your business Facebook page, you’ll get this screen here. You can see the video’s uploaded 100%, and essentially it’s going to give me 10 snippets from the video that I can choose from.

The problem is none of these little snippets that it’s giving me are very compelling. I want to tell my own story, so instead I’m going to add a custom thumbnail. And all you need to do is find your image. It’s going to take me just a second to find it. And I recommend that the image be the same one that you’re using for all your other marketing.

For me, I’m going to use the same image that I use on my YouTube videos so that there’s consistency regardless if you watch my video on YouTube or Facebook. All I need to do is add a title, description, and go ahead and publish it. And then this custom thumbnail will be the image that people see when it pops up on Facebook.
