To add a user to your WordPress website, the first think you’ll need to do is log in. You’ll need to also have administrative rights in order to add a user.

Now, on the left-hand side, click on User. And at the top, go ahead and click on Add User. You’ll need to give them a user name that will not change, it’s permanent. Add an email, their first and last name, and website, if you’d like.

If you have a current version of WordPress, it will automatically create a password and then you can check this box and it will automatically send the account information to the user. Now, the one thing that you wanna be careful of is the roles. You have a number of different options down here, and I’ll include a link to WordPress that will actually tell you what access the individual roles have. All you need to do when you’re done is click Add New User and it’s all taken care of.
