Why You Should Pin A Tweet On Twitter

Before I show you how to pin content on your Twitter account, I want to explain the marketing benefit, and that is when you pin content, it’s going to be the very first item that shows up on your feed. As you know, your feed is chronological.

If you don’t pin anything, then whatever your last post was is going to be at the top. That may not be the strongest post.

For me, I want this video that I made introducing myself and explaining what my Twitter page is about and, “If you like what I have to say, make sure you follow me” to be my very first post, therefore I’m going to pin it.

All I need to do is click these triple buttons, click “Pin to your profile page”, verify that you want it done, and boom, it is done. If I refresh my page, that video is now going to be at the top and will always be at the top of my feed until I change it.
