How To Add Profile Picture To YouTube Channel

Hello, internet fans, Ryan Perry, Simple Biz Support, and in this episode of the One-Minute Marketing Tip, I’m going to show you how to change your profile picture on your YouTube channel.

In order to change the profile image on your YouTube channel, the first thing that you’ll need to do is go to YouTube and log in. In the upper left hand corner here is your profile picture. If your YouTube channel is not connected to your Google+ account, just click the edit button here, and you’ll be able to change the image. If it is connected to your Google+ account, you’ll get this message here and all you need to do is click the blue “Edit on Google+” which will open up a new tab for your Google+ account, and just realize that the image is going to be this image right here. So this image on your Google+ account will be the same as this image on your YouTube channel, and all you need to do is upload an image that is appropriate for your audience.

According to YouTube guidelines, they recommend that your image be at least 250 by 250 pixels large. And that’s how you change the profile image on your YouTube channel.
