Get Found In Google Local Search (My Business)

Google Places (now know as My Business) also referred to as the map section on a Google results page is a highly coveted place to be because it’s limited to three businesses. You may have a hundred businesses in one city, but Google is only going to show three of those businesses, and it’s at the top of the search result.

Today, I’m going to share with you three different websites you can check out that’s going to help you gain better visibility in that local section. One is BrightLocal. The second one is Moz Local which I’ve used myself. And then the third one is Whitespark.

All three of these websites are going to let you know what citations, which local directories you’re in, such as Google, Facebook, Foursquare and if your information is consistent, which is really important across all the citations, they have free versions and paid versions depending on what your needs are.

Go ahead. Give one a try today.
